TINA: Trade Intelligence & Negotiation Advisor

TINA - the Trade Intelligence & Negotiation Advisor - is an online advisory tool that helps you with the negotiation of trade agreements by providing insights into current tariffs, agreements and bilateral trade flows, as well as identifying commodities to negotiate better tariffs on. Who to negotiate with? What products to negotiate better tariffs on? And what will the benefits of such negotiations be? TINA gathers and processes data from a wide variety of sources within seconds and provides useful trade intelligence.

ESCAP Trade Analytics Portal (Gravity Model)

On the Trade Analytics Portal you can use a gravity model and trade cost model to quantify the impacts of trade-related policies, from traditional tariffs to behind-the-border measures or institutional arrangements, on bilateral trade flows (imports/exports). Moreover, based on regression results, you can determine the trade potential (get an estimated to actual trade ratio) and generate trade simulations (e.g., what would the effect be on the exports of country X if its trading partners reduce tariffs by 1%).
