On the Trade Analytics Portal you can use a gravity model and trade cost model to quantify the impacts of trade-related policies, from traditional tariffs to behind-the-border measures or institutional arrangements, on bilateral trade flows (imports/exports). Moreover, based on regression results, you can determine the trade potential (get an estimated to actual trade ratio) and generate trade simulations (e.g., what would the effect be on the exports of country X if its trading partners reduce tariffs by 1%).
The Asia-Pacific Trade Indicators Portal (APTIP) has been developed to allow for easy, user-friendly access to indicators of inclusivity and information on preferential trade agreements in Asia and the Pacific. APTIP gathers data from a wide selection of reputable sources and enables you to visualize this data on trade, economic, social and environmental indicators in time-series graphs, bar charts and scatter plots, as well as to export the relevant datasets in CSV for further analysis.
The APTIAD database contains information on all preferential agreements within the Asia-Pacific region, an agreement-country matrix, and an advanced search engine.
This visualization portal features the results from the 2017 and 2019 Global Survey and enables comparison of countries' results in charts, maps and tables.
