Evan Due
ARTNeT Advisor: Research Programme
Evan Due is an Executive Fellow at the School of Public Policy, University of Calgary (Canada), and a sessional lecturer in International Business at the Beedie School of Business, Simon Fraser University (Canada). He is also a Senior Advisor to the China Development Research Foundation in Beijing China, and an advisor to the Asian Institute of Technology, Bangkok, Thailand. He has more than 30 years’ experience in international relations, trade and development, policy analysis, and program management. He has held positions in the Government of Canada (Global Affairs Canada) and the International Development Research Centre, and consultancy positions with the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (Bangkok), the China Development Research Foundation (Beijing) and the Ministry of Finance, Government of Sri Lanka. He represented Canada at OECD and in various multilateral forums. His professional interests are in public policy, political economy, international trade and sustainable development, and international economic governance. He obtained his doctorate from the University of Sussex, U.K.
