Co-Creating Myanmar's Science, Technology and Innovation Policy: National Consultation

Co-Creating Myanmar's STI Policy

National Consultation on Myanmar’s Draft Science, Technology and Innovation Policy

Following the five round table discussions held on August 2020, the Department of Research and Innovation (DRI), with the support of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP), is finalising the first draft of Myanmar’s Science, Technology and Innovation (STI) Policy.  The document has been created through the collaborative efforts of multiple Ministries, civil society organizations and universities.

In order to gather views from a diverse group of stakeholders, a National Consultation will be held on Tuesday, 6th of October, at 2pm (MMT). The consultation will include a broad range of stakeholders from the public and private sector, academia and civil society. It will be an opportunity to have your say on the focus and instruments proposed in the current draft STI policy.

VIRTUAL MEETING, MYANMAR
BY INVITATION ONLY - If your organization would like to contribute to the process, please contact us.
